2nd Annual EMBRACE Fundraiser a Celebration of Atlanta’s Diversity

On Thursday, May 17th AALAC held its 2nd Annual EMBRACE fundraiser at the celebrated Kai Lin Art Gallery in Buckhead. A diverse crowd of supporters joined us to raise funds for AALAC and to celebrate our city’s diversity and ongoing commitment to civil rights.

Here’s an excerpt of what one of our guests had to say:  “I headed out last Thursday night to what I had believed to be a attorney’s business gathering (read: stuffy) where free food and drink would be the order of the evening (read: bribe for stuffy gathering). I was pleasantly surprised then to be treated to an evening of song, art, advocacy, raffle prizes, really good food, light networking, and actual fun….Embrace was a kind of spring mixer/fundraiser for AALAC (Asian American Legal Advocacy Center), a non-profit group designed to speak for and empower the civil, social, and economic rights of those without a voice. The event attracted a pleasingly diverse crowd and was a blast to photograph. People actually having fun at these things makes my job so much easier, and more enjoyable.”

Thanks to all our guests, to Kai Lin Art and our many sponsors!
