Gwinnett County Judicial Candidates Forum Provides Critical Information to Voters
On Sunday, June 24th more than 200 Gwinnett County residents and others joined us for a historic Judicial Candidate Forum held at Korean Community Presbyterian Church in Duluth. The forum was held to inform and encourage people to vote during the July 31st Primaries. “AALAC has learned through multiple community meetings that a lack of knowledge of candidates and issues discourage people from voting,” said Helen Ho, AALAC Executive Director. “We wanted to respond by providing a space for Asian American voters to learn about the issues.” AALAC was one of several organizational sponsors of this forum.
