June Voter Training Tackles AAPI voter apathy and trains advocates on effective engagement strategies
On Saturday, June 9th AALAC co-hosted a special Voter Engagement and Voter Registration training. We had approximately 40 participants join us for an all day session on how we can excite and organize Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in Georgia and the Southeast to vote. The training was a great opportunity for participants to learn effective voter mobilization and communications strategies, national and regional voting trends, and to engage and contribute in local planning.
