AALAC and Partners Take on Gwinnett on Saturday October 6, 2012

AALAC, with its partners Fil-Am, KAC, VAC-Ga, CCFA, and UGA-ALSA are aiming to take on Gwinnett in one final voter registration push on October 6, 2012.

Asian Americans make up more than 10% of the population in Gwinnett County, but because of our low voting turnout, Asian Americans are disproportionately underrepresented within our government and lack political power.  We need to take pride in our USA citizenship and make our voices heard!  The quality of our lives and our children’s lives depend on it.  Vote for Our Future!

AALAC will have over 30 volunteers throughout Gwinnett County with a focus on increasing Asian American voters in Gwinnett County.  But we need more volunteers!  Volunteers must commit 3-4 hours of time and meet for a mini-training at 10:15 a.m. at

Mozart Bakery
2131 Pleasant Hill Road
Duluth, GA 30096
(located behind the BP Gas station located on the corner of Pleasant Hill and Venture Drive)

Please contact AALAC’s Director for Civic Engagement, Alice Kim, at alice@aalegal.org.  We will be going door to door and setting up voter registration tables at the following sites.  Come join us to exercise your civic duty and right to vote!  THANKS!
